provost, AB | With nobody in the place it would be easy to keep the place just above freezing. Especially if it has a basement and only 1 level. No upstairs.
There's always things people forget, such as the plumbing in the crawl space, canned goods, soft drink containers. Sure you can turn the water off but what if you live in town and it's pressurized right to the valve just into your house. It could certainly blow just before the valve with nobody checking the house. | |
