SW MN | We shut off water and breakers to water heater, stove and dryer, have wifi thermostats so can see temp in house and control heat from my phone. have wifi cameras watching the area and also remote thermometer in freezer with readout in front of one camera. Leave house set at 45 degrees, doesn't take much heat and keeps sheet rock and paint from cracking. Added advantage of wifi thermostats is I can start house warming up when we leave Arizona so don't come home to a cold house at 10 oclock at night. | |
