Spend 5 months in Az. Plumbing in old farm house is rudimentary but drain and blow out everything including washer, dishwasher and hot water heater. I blow it out through an adapter on a outside faucet. Don’t use too much pressure. 40 psi is plenty. I leave heat on 60 to give a little time if furnance quits. House is well insulated so doesn’t cost much to keep heat on that high.
What all would you do to winterize a house?
