A different thought . I use an Aerway with tines and a double rolling basket. I'm able to fracture and mix some residue and leave the soil level and ready to plant next spring. . It's the only tool I own that I don't have to go back to the barn and get another one to follow it. Not a popular tool ,but it works for me and are reasonably priced.


When I was in the Lawncare business others would tell me aerators like that created more compaction. Have you seen that at all? Interesting idea
