| Agreed, always do the math and check if RTK makes sense on your farm.
Really true for any investment, be it a machine or technology.
Anyway, at 1500.-/year per machine subscription plus the initial purchase on a JD it is much harder to find the ROI then on a one time purchase with ground based RTK at USD $5,700.00 and no subscription cost.

While the seed examples are definitely right, I actually enjoy RTK performance more at spraying time. When applying fungicides a coming back again either for fungicides or desiccation I can actually run in the same lines! Prior to RTK I was constantly playing with the nudge feature... Maybe more difficult to tell the ROI, but sure helped my mental health LOL. | |
