I have heard that a CT angiogram (sp?) is an even more accurate accurate test than a CAC. It is much more involved to get one as I understand it. A doctor would not likely order one unless there were other reasons to believe there were problems.

CAC will also not indicate any electrical problems. It is just a screening tool to see if a person has some disease already started. Relatively simple to do and cost effective.
