No, but I would want it to be a very strong magnet!
Most magnet mounts are for survey style antenna, not the big bulky unit that JD or most AG antenna and receivers that are on machinery now.
Also, if you buy the implement receiver mounting kit from Deere, it has some rubber grommets under the mounting brackets to absorb some of the vibration so it doesn't wear out the internals of your receiver.
