| My 2020 Wrangler is going in for corrosion repair. They used cast hinges on Aluminum doors and the two metals are fighting each other very quickly. It does not help that they painted the hinges on the door, so there is bare metal between the two different metals. Supposedly I get new doors and hinges, and they put a zinc gasket between them after painting both separately.
I had an 07 Chevy that only took 5 years to show it's first rust here in Central IA. That generation seemed to rust quickly. RAM pickups also rust very quickly. | |
