| For beef. Concrete is not an option at this time but I want to keep them out of the muck. Hoof trimmer just told me to stay away from any sort of crushed rock but I can’t imagine that leaves me with any options? Tried some larger lime rock that breaks down and packs good but had a few cows end up with broken toes (healed fine on their own but were sore for a while). Tried lime screenings but that just turns to muck. Is the trimmer exaggerating the hoof problems with any sort of gravel on the lot? | |
