coast of Maine | In 1977 dad bought a brand new one ton dually pickup with the biggest piece of crap 454 motor.Constant issues .Mostly from too much heat I assume now.It had rusted out rear cab corners by 1981.Always less than 10 MPG but at its worst a few times 3 MPG .Backfired often from first month onward,Blew the ends out of the dual exhaust mufflers...warranty then was very poor.They never figured the thing out.Cab was quiet and plush for the time.About only decent thing. | |
