Southeast Colorado
I could easily be talked out of the subsidies for start up farmers. I'm simply stating that if they are going to exist...........they should only exist in limited amounts for those in that beginning parameter.

But just to carry it a hair further.............there actually is an economic development resource in most rural areas that gives out money/grants for start up businesses based on how many employees will be on staff, along with tax rebates and incentives for putting up new businesses on main street so to speak. I've been neck deep into the details several years back when we were trying to keep a local Coop in business. The wife and I donated some of our Covid money into this system. I felt WAY worse for the businesses on Main Street that were forced to close than I did farmers.
