ks_cover_crop - 11/25/2024 07:49 Show me where the US government is enforcing a policy that mandates carbon credits and id also like to see the policy for these subsidies of carbon credits. There was grant money available for things such as cover crops, regenerative farming practices, etc but it has absolutely nothing to do with carbon credits. Bottom line is these practices aren't going anywhere anytime soon. These practices actually grew under the trump administrations 1st term and I'm guessing with RFK involved they will not be killed in his 2nd term. Like I said earlier it's voluntary nobody is forcing you to participate.

45z tax credits.     That is what is pushing the carbon nonsense and yes, it was around before Trumps first term.     Biden just increased the payments to make it even more lucrative.

Yes its not being forced, yet.   Give the left more time and they will get us there.

I don't care what anyone wants to do with their own money.    Plant all the cover crops you want with your own money without any govt subsidies (direct or indirect), I don't care.   Just quit wasting tax payer dollars on such programs.
