I understand the concept of load control. We used to have it here...........but I never signed up for it, and they let the program die after a few years.

I understand this is a complicated scenario. But back then they were trying to make generation as efficient as possible...........while still utilizing very dependable sources. Now they've worked inconsistent power generation into the model so it has upped the game substantially. And it has obviously come at a higher cost to the consumer. If we really want to see where this green energy phenomenon leads, one only has to look at Europe...........where they are a couple of decades ahead of us in this endeavor. There, electric rates are 3x higher than ours.
