You beat me to it, John. My cholesterol was around 240 and doc wanted to put me on a statin. I told her you can prescribe but I won't take. So, I went and got the calcium score test done. Cost $100 in Ames, IA. My score was 7. Doc said you done need a statin. I have since changed docs.
