Paxton, IL | From what I can tell from the pictures, that looks like a little different arrangement than mine was. It looks like it just has simple markers and not the heavier fold over style. So the part fold/full fold wouldn’t be needed.
The frame going up towards the hitch looks different than mine did, so I wonder what else is different?
It looks like there are support stands in the front of the wings to set it down to unhook? Mine didn’t have those. Typically you would pin the wings in their transport position, then lower the wing lift wheels and put the safety stops in the cylinders to support the planter when you unhook. It was really a neat system where you used the hydraulics to do all the lifting without the need for a jack. The wing wheels look a little different on yours also though.
How many hydraulic hoses/circuits run up to the tractor?
Does it have 2 cylinders in the front center of the rear section that fold the wings in and out?
Without the fold over markers and a few other differences, I’m wondering if it’s designed without the need for a control box and just folds by pulling forward or backing up? I’ve never seen one like that, so I really don’t know. | |
