Subject: Home construction the Iraqi way


West Central IL

While traveling I snapped these photos constructing a home.  I also, noticed this same principle when constructing multi-story buildings also. 

 Concrete slab is poured, sidewalls built and then the flat roof or next story is framed, using the tree branches to hold up the form.  Concrete added and you now have a roof or next story floor. 

  More scenery and farm equipment.  When we traveled to military installations with the Iraqi Generals, it was customary for the band to perform a couple traditional Iraq songs.
