West KY | Man I'm with you, I would much rather have the just the spreaders like we used to on the 60-70 series. I really don't care for Deere's chopper, wont spread as well as just the spreaders. All that extra hp draw, more expensive, high wear. We double crop fair amount of wheat/bean acres. No more of a problem no-tilling into the wheat straw than neighbors with choppers, and combining green stemmed beans.... easier without that chopper sucking up hp. | |
