I’ve got two dewalt 1/2” guns with a detent pin. Work great. My 3/8” dewalt gun with a hog ring is constant hog ring maintenance. I’m very close to giving up on it.
4 half inch and 5 of the 3/8 hog rings and we haven’t touched one yet. And yes they get used often
