East River SoDak | I’ve come to the conclusion conception rates have more to do with the bulls than the cows. We have a similar herd to yours…straight angus for years…the pastures with the good breeding bulls get almost all or all the cows bred, the other pastures tend to struggle. Generations of AI have unintentionally bred the libido out of bulls…maybe 1 in 4 bulls is a really good breeder anymore | |
