NWIL | I've got a 12F that was part of the very first shipment they sent over to NA from Germany to see how they would perform and if there was potential to enter the market fully. It was initially on a Lexion, then a Deere, now I run it on red for the past eight seasons. I don't have a clue how many, but its had a PILE of acres through it. Simply put, I really like it. Built very heavy duty, have had minimal issues with it, especially considering the age/acres. Couple years ago I put Calmer rolls on it, for me they do a much better job then the standard knife rolls, especially in down corn.
The ones I've been told to veer away from are the 12 rows with a single driveshaft, as well as the short period of time they used a clamped on gathering chain drive sprocket instead of a splined sprocket. | |
