I know you're kidding but...

It's like playing chess by committee, but you can't just move your pieces into place. You have to actually be able to get them there. It's not about athletic stamina, but about being able to make judgments about line and speed (including whether the ice in the exact path has curve or runs straight) while the rock is sliding. It's about a team being able to communicate the information and process it and make a decision on sweeping or not within a split second.

It is a little bit about athletic stamina though. If you don't think so, try dragging one of my under-thrown rocks down the ice using only a broom to warm the ice in front of it!

Anyway, I hope the game today is competitive the whole way through. Unless Canada gets way ahead of course!
