NW Iowa | Looking to put liquid fertilizer on my 1255 planter and run it through the Pro 700. Problem is the factory harness to control the two on / off valves are a 4 wire that was designed for a Banjo valve that has been discontinued. CIH must still have some valves but they want 3 times what they should be. The 4 wire valve has an extra ground wire in it for possible feedback to the console when the valve is open. I can loop the ground from the other ground wire on the valve but not sure if CIH actually needs to ground feedback for the console to work correctly. Has anyone put 3 wire valves on a 1250 or 1255 and it worked properly? I think KZ makes a 4 wire actuator but I don’t really want KZ valves. | |
