west central Iowa | My son bought a bred heifer at least ten years ago at a breeder sale. She's had good calves, but have fixed gates three times that she mashed down when she didn't jump quite high enough. This morning I was running water in their tank (not used to cold weather yet didn't get tank turned back on soon enough). The wild cow will now let me scratch her head for a drink when she's thirsty. | |
