It looks like a used front axle is $1000. I would probably just buy a used one and be done with it. There's a local guy who has a boring mill and repairs axles. He bores it out, machines a press fit sleeve, and then installs the factory bushings. He did the axle on my dad's 7130 but a used MFWD axle is a lot more than $1000.
