One of the best quotes I’ll never forget was said by a breeder. “What’s it costing your cowherd to parallel the management of your Seedstock supplier”? A bull I purchased last spring. Dam is 14 now and never missed. Granddam still in production also. Buy bulls from a breeder who raises them in a tougher environment than you do. Things are slowly improving after changing seedstock suppliers and throwing the shiny ai catalogs in the trash. I can live with single digit open percentage. | |
