I'm in termite country so wood barns suck. 3 guys can throw up a metal building fast. 60' and under clear span is one price. The next price change happens at 60' to 100'. Just stay at or under 100' clear span. Keep your beams on 20' centers and you have a structure that doesn't move. I'm not a fan of z purlin on 25' as it tends to give a bunch in the wind. 25' spreads or better on uprights require X bracing on the ceiling.
