We run spreaders on our combines and prefer them over choppers for several reasons. I am currently looking at a used Deere S series with a chopper and advanced powercast tailboard. Would it be possible to take out the chopper and just run the tailboard? I have no familiarity with them at all.
We are corn and soybeans.
I can't imagine how a spreader is better than a chopper in beans. There must be something the majority of us don't know. |
