SC Wisconsin | I've done some research but haven't really found the answer I'm looking for yet. Looking at tigermate 1 and 2 cultivator, I'll be pulling it with a healthy 7140 magnum fwa. I think 24-25' is as big as I want to go and I'll be pulling a single basket crumbler behind it. It seems like I can find alot of the tigermate i in that size in the 7-10k range, while the next series is in the middle teens. Is the tigermate 2 worth that much more in the smaller size? From my research it looks like the early ones had frame and wheel bearing issues but only when you get over 30'. I see some of the later ones have guage wheels out in front on the wings, not sure if they are necessary for the smaller sizes or not. Lastly ive seen talk about the shank/ spring assemblies on the older ones being replaced by a newer style. The small amount if acres of run I'm just having a hard time spending over 50% more for essentially the same tool, but if there is really that much improvement with the later model in the 24'25' size it makes it an easier pill to swallow. Thanks for any advice. | |
