| We’ve run into this issue with Krause finishers. Problem is the 9” shank spacing & 10” shovels. Best option is if you could find a salvage machine to pull some shanks off & rearranging your spacing to 6” & run 7” shovels or 7” spacing with 8” shovels
Other issue IMO is your 3 bar coil tine harrow doesn’t pull enough dirt. 5 bar spike will help but won’t cure your problem. We have a 42’ 6200 on 9” spacing & 10” shovels with 5 bar spike harrow & in certain conditions it still streaks. Our field cultivators on 6” spacing & 7” shovels & 5 bar harrows don’t streak running in same conditions as the 6200 | |
