Lahore, Pakistan
Well here in Ontario when there is a fire, the local Tim Hortons coffee shop usually shows up with coffee and donuts. Boosts moral I suppose. Funny thing is, it’s true. When our dryer was on fire they set up a table and had coffee and donuts. The girlfriend at the time brought Kentucky fried chicken and set up a whole complete mess table. The upside is the fireman and the one fire fighter woman (she was a rocket and out fought them boys) were more then happy to get fed. Downside was they stopped to eat. Needless to say the dryer was a right off.

Maybe this is something you could incorporate into your fire scenarios that my southern Canadians (aka Americans) might try.
