I wouldn’t be too worried about it. I’d angitate every 2-3 days, and that’s really just to make myself feel better and I think it could go much longer without issues.

I find that Dicamba and 24d both like to soak into or coat the inside of hoses.

My concern would be next spring when are back into the roundup and soybeans. When roundup sits in the hoses it will clean/pull out the 24d and dicamba. When you start spraying you’ll have a damaged triangle. The chemical that pulls out during spraying won’t hurt anything, it’s the chemical that gets pulled out overnight that causes the issue.

If you have product in your booms right now then I’d go run clean water through your booms right now today.

I’d make sure to do a really bang up job of flushing after you get unloaded. I’d take extra care to purge the boom before starting susceptible fields next spring (unless you have recirculating booms).


I agree 100%. Better get boom flushed out good now and once finished do a very thorough cleaning or you will see damage next spring
