Hastings, Florida | I will usually give a thanks if I see cap indicating the wearer served. A quick nod, say thanks.
Often when I see a man in uniform eating, I will discretely pay for their meal.
On Veteran's Day, I have a deal with local Cafe, Vets eat free and I split their bill with the Cafe.
For years I have used same barbershop, mostly old men.
I pay for my cut, and leave the money for a haircut for a Veteran the barber thinks needs the help.
Veteran's earned a little thanks.
