20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | IMO main drawback to non gmo corn is less hybrids to choose from and they don’t come out with new ones as quick typically.
But in reality that probably means the non gmo they do come forward with is more consistent hybrids.
I tend to overthink and over analyze so i probably put too much faith in the “ new and improved “.
We have stayed double stack VT2\AM hybrids because of grass control and the added corn boer protection. But as barker has said I’ve seen very little so I’m probably worried about something that economically isn’t affecting me if I went non gmo. I worked for a company once that sold a lot of Roundup only corn and I remember scouting it and seeing CB feeding every once and a while but didn’t see any negative effect enough to tell em to spray for it. But that was also only 2 summers with them. |
