How are you guys up north going to come out this spring with all that snow on the ground and crop still out in the fields? I can't but see that the markets are going to go up a bit to encourage more corn to go in the ground. It will take a while for the snow to melt off and get the rest of the crop out and then work the ground and get the new crop in. The only thing that could put off a rally is if we had a double dip recession or the admittance of a depression on our hands and demand fall off a cliff. When demand falls the price will plummet once again. Hopefully the dollar will fall in value a bit and investors will migrate to grains at the same time the markets are trying to persuade what the ground is going to be used for. It is just a matter of time before the economy falls on its face, or whats left of it. Our debt load is way to much and with the Federal Reserve monetizing the debt it could spell serious trouble. |
