How about we just let the pendulum fall back to the middle and let EVERYONE farm how they see fit. That would be the ultimate goal of less government interference. You should be able to farm your land the way you see fit to make it your idea of "profitable"


There is a line that needs to be drawn somewhere, because what operation A thinks is profitable but negatively effects operation B or the other neighbors needs to be part of the discussion as well.

You want to run around naked in the middle of a 100 acre woods, fine it's your land.

You want to enact zero conservation practices that blasts the neighbors with water and sediment every time it rains more than an inch then that's a different discussion.
