Bull that produced some of the best udders on Angus cows ever seen was EXT, a bull with fairly small nuts. Not everyone feeds bulls like fat steers. If you feed them to breed cows rather than for catalog pictures they sort themselves out. I would tend to believe Tim. He is an astute observer of cattle for a long time using primarily his own bulls so readily sees cause an affect, Much different than the bull of the month club that is constantly trying to correct their previous EPD (every possible disaster) screw up.

Seems like emulation cattle were known for their “sunny” disposition.

I’m a believer that only 2 things influence cattle—-genetics and environment

we got a pretty Cattle friendly environment, we used ext a lot—no problem—-. Lovely udders!

Ps—-feed, shelter, how they’re handled, handlers disposition—-and much more—-basically, if it ain’t genetics—-it’s environment.
