South Central MN | My mom was using something for about six months, but didn't like wearing it at night. Very early on Easter morning, she called and needed to go to the ER, so we picked her up and brought her there. She wasn't wearing her alert system. The ER visit resulted in spending two weeks in the hospital while her alert system was in her bedroom at home. It took about nine days before the system recognized there could be a problem and called her (not us). Needless to say we discontinued the service. We can have the best intentions trying to keep people safe, but they may not work. | |
