Amherst WI | You are much farther south than I am so you will get more mileage out of it than here, but I don't think you will accomplish what you are trying to do with a broadleaf planted that late.
If you have compaction, I'd rip it and get some cereal rye growing on it so the roots are going where you fractured the pan. That will keep these new channels open, and PVA is right you need to get off the fluff and smash merry go round if you expect it to get any better.
If you plant green without much disturbance from row cleaners you can push conditions and still keep the planter clean. | |
