Does any retailer in your area carry soluble Potash? I don't have any experience melting red, granular Potash, but the fine, white soluble Potash we mix with water to make 6-16-6-2s and 0-0-10 goes into solution easy enough. Might be easier for you if you can find some versus using red. By weight, 0-0-10 is .166 lb 0-0-60 or .161 lb 0-0-62, and .833 lb or .839 lb water per lb of 0-0-10.
