High yield savings account or a money market. Their are two kinds of money markets the bank fdic insured type and the stock market type, have one of the bank ones but isn't paying great anymore but you wont loose it. As far as high yield savings I have one with bread financial that is currently earning 4.64% and fdic insured. Nerd wallet is good at rating these.
