I have had some farms that are been around 5.0 ph and it has took around 5.5 ton to get it to where the ph is good. I no till and will not put more than 2 ton per acre at a time. It took 3 lime applications to get it back good.


Man that sounds like some soil around my area. I’ve seen ground with a ph in the low 4s. I think one spot my neighbor had took over 6 tons of lime to finally get it evened out.

He still has to apply a ton every other year to keep it that way. Lol
