I have no idea on spring applied, but since some are indicating their whole experiences, i will too! ...
really haven't used Nserve before, but did on one field this past year, similar soil to the O.P.'s.
i left strips without, 30 bpa less.
for us, this was a 2019-type year, however.
I just finished a bunch more test strips for next year!
Cut N-Serve Next Spring??
