Central Coast, California | We have 2. The first one we installed and it quit after 2 years. Repairs were covered under warranty but getting them done took so long we bought another one and installed it. Then my dad took the original one to our place in eastern Oregon.
Here in California and Oregon the summers are hot and the cooling is appreciated. Never had issues with the winters here I haven't been to Oregon enough in the winter to know how well it works up there.
I think the 2 are different brands. I know one is an A.O. Smith the other not sure. The newer one has to be at least 5 years old. |
