Windom, MN | A couple hard freezes would have been nice, but we can’t just wait for that here. Everyone was done with beans by the time it froze here this year. Our average frost date is around October 12th and most guys start soybeans around the last week of September.
It was hot during harvest. Highs of 80-90 degrees but it wasn’t humid. I started the fan as soon as I had the floor covered. They did dry in the bin, tickets said anywhere from 13 to 13.5 until I got to the bottom…those in the picture were 10. | |
