Thanks for sharing. We've made many of trips from KS to Augusta. Not for the same species of bulls however. Neat area up there. Also had many visits with Tim on his porch at OCC. Bought some bulls and a wheel loader from him. very interesting fella.
You’re welcome. Sarah’s got lots of pictures on that site—-some dandy bulls of the type you were after if you keep going.
This was lower ranch—-if you know the area, you’ve seen their upper ranch, farther up in the foothills, benchmark road.
Fish and game furnishes a rider to try to keep elk off that in the spring. Lower ranch, they got a dead pile up higher—try to coexist—-working so far, sent my kid and his outa state buddy up there this spring—-grizzly’s were coming in while still daylight—-hungry time for them. Cobb’s are a kick—-you oughta stop in next time you’re up | |
