20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | In central Indiana on a smidge lighter soils (8-14’s) we do not use any and it is our whole N program on some acres (besides AMS in spring).
A good friend of ours did years of trials with and without and went away from it and we followed suit. This year on 100% pre plant without N serve vs 100% side dress without N serve as well, I saw no yield difference, but we had almost no pounding rains and were more dry than wet. |
