Grandma made green tomato pie or mock apple pie. Green tomatoes, dried cranberries, sugar and apple spice. Not bad. I plant tomatoes in big tree pots and stop watering them in mid October. Pull the plant or cut at ground level before frost with the cage and hang upside down somewhere they won't freeze. A lot of the tomatoes that are too green to ever ripen do because they continue to develope....James
