Subject: Pickled green tomatoes

Pickled green tomatoes. Wife canned a ton of them one year. Had them for the next two years. Kind of like sweet pickles. Tasted pretty good. Gave a bunch away also. The smaller green ones I think worked the best and were firmest to pickle. The ones that had a shade of ripening we just brought inside and let ripen.

That had to be over six years ago because we no longer eat anything with sugar in it. So it has been a while back. Should find recipes on line.
