So I like to look at these ads and look and dream but for a small farm kid from Southern Illinois the ads leave me with a couple questions.
So the ad that you posted states the following:
Carrying Capacity Cows: 561
Total Acres: 73165
Deeded Acres: 333.06
State Lease Acres: 27330
BLM Lease Acres: 44178
Forest Service Lease Acres: 0
Farm Ground: 0
Irrigated Ground: 0
So my question is If you ad the BLM Acres + State Lease + Deeded Acres = 71841.06 Where is the other 1323.94 acres?
If you purchase this place for $2.5 million, what are you actually buying? Can these leases stay with the buyer and descendants forever? What acreage do you pay taxes on?
The ad states 561 cow capacity, that's 130 acres per head? Do you physically move them from one area to another? Will they graze the entire parcel?
