Hooker Twp,Ne | Wife had stroke year and half ago. I got first stroke. She wasn’t talking right. Ambulance and right meds and in hospital. 4 days later she was dismissed and went to my moms funeral. Next day daughter and her went to foot doc and stopped at target. In target she had another stroke Back to hospital. There for 4:days and they sent her best rehab place in town. Gdaughter and I went to see her around 9 the next morning and see wouldn’t response right to me but sitting in chair. I went to nurse station and was told she just tired. I finally got nurse to go in to see her. Nurse insisted she just tired even though I question her nursing ability. After some arguments i said if you say so then we go back home and come back this afternoon. I was ready to turn in drive (40 minutes to home) I got phone call that they taking her to hospital. This time major stroke. Today she in rest home Can’t talk,no right side and in diapers. If I would have only been more demanding when I was at the rehab place. But I expected medical personal to know better than me an ole farmer. Be careful | |
